Traditionally, the Fiesta is a time of joyful celebration for Filipinos, who cook heaps of hearty food, throw open their door's to visitor's, and parade in the streets, Filipino Fiesta's have evolved into elaborate , multi-day festivals, while other's have kept their community root's. 

Barrio Fiesta, which means neighbourhood celebration, is a gathering of Filipino culture through which different Philippine neighbourhood celebrate their patron Saints.
